Auditor, Solihull MBC
We are currently recruiting for Auditors to join our experienced and well regarded Audit team, conveniently based at the Council House in Solihull town centre.
In this interesting and varied role you will perform a range of high quality audit reviews as determined by an audit needs assessment, to a wide range of internal and external customers, with a view to providing independent assurance to the Council’s Chief Executive, Directors and elected Members, that its risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively, and identifying potential improvements to work practices, where appropriate.
We are seeking recently qualified or qualified and experienced people and you will be placed on a grade which reflects your qualifications and experience (please see the job description and person specification for further details).
Your experience of understanding and interpreting regulations, legislation and procedures as well as experience of working in an internal audit function and undertaking a broad range of audit assurance, consultancy reviews and investigations independently will ensure we continue to deliver the quality audit service that we currently pride ourselves on(please see Person Specification for full details).
