We in Mid Kent Audit are a public audit and assurance service based in Maidstone Borough Council. We are an ambitious service, seeking to add real value and improve the work of our partner authorities across their risk management, control and governance.
We are recruiting to a vacant post in our team seeking an auditor to join our group of enthusiastic professionals. If you are looking to build on your existing experience and develop your career to the next level then we’re keen to hear from you.
We work across four Kent authorities, Maidstone, Swale, Ashford and Tunbridge Wells. In each we create solid working links with senior management and Members while providing insight and challenge. We express that insight with clarity and conciseness to make us a valuable partner in each authority’s development.

This role is customer-facing. Being at ease with customers at all levels of seniority and an ability provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential.
